Thanks for taking a moment to provide us with more information on the Shadforths United Servo job.


As you know, Shadforths are disputing the quantities. They are claiming that over 8000 tonnes have disappeared or not been delivered.


Effectively this means each truck went out 1/3 UNDERLOADED!


Shadforths are claiming that each body truck that carried material for the United job has a maximum carrying capacity of 6.5m3 or 9 tonnes.


Shadforths are claiming that each side tipper load that carried material for the United job has a maximum carrying capacity of 13m3 of 18 tonnes.


Shadforths are also claiming that there was zero material wastage and that there is no Anderleigh material in the rear dam.


AQ have suggested that their calculations are wrong, by way of using a compacted rate in truck not on ground. Ie. trucks carry loose materials not compacted materials. They are adamant as they struggle to handover the job and claim variances that this is not the case.


If you have a moment to provide the requested details so that our solicitor can chase the five figure sum owed to us, that would be most helpful.
